W Coin & the shop

W Coin is the currency of the item shop. You can earn it by playing, trade online time for it, or donate for it — and nothing the shop sells is needed to play the game through. Here is every way in, what it buys, and what it deliberately does not.

The basics

What W Coin is

There is one, it is honest about itself, and none of it is required. W Coin buys items from the shop and does nothing else — it cannot buy heim, and heim cannot buy it.

It belongs to your account

Not to a character. Whatever any of your characters earns lands in one balance, and any of them can spend it.

Where you see it

In the in-game Item Shop window, and at the top of the shop on this site when you are signed in. Every time you earn some, a line in your chat window gives the amount and your new balance.

Where purchases go

Into your Storage Box inside the Item Shop, whether you bought in game or on the website. Claim it from there onto the character you want it on.

Free

Earning it by playing

Four things you would be doing anyway pay W Coin straight into your balance. Two of them pay once per character, two of them pay every day.

What you doW CoinHow often
Clear a mission for the first time10 · 25 · 50 · 100 by the mission’s recommended level: under 50, 50–79, 80–99, 100 and upOnce per mission, per character
Reach level 100, 110, 120 … 17030 at 100, rising by 30 each time — 240 at 170. 1,080 in allOnce per milestone, per character
Finish a battlefield match50, win or loseSix paid matches a day, per account
Clear the Trial of Wind or the Trial of Light25Four paid clears a day, per account
One mission breaks the level rule: the Chamber of Secrets pays 10. Battlefield matches mean Zapir, Frost and Gold Rush, and the chat line calls them Chaos Zone. The other Cursed Tower grades and the Monster Colosseum pay no W Coin.

Every character earns its own

Mission first clears and level milestones are counted per character, so a new character pays out all over again as it levels. A repeat clear of a mission the same character has already done pays nothing, and says nothing either.

The daily limits are per account

Six battlefield matches (300 W Coin) and four tower clears (100 W Coin) a day, shared by every character on the account. When you hit one, the chat tells you you have reached today’s limit for that activity. You are only paid for a match if you were actually playing in it.

Where each of these lives: missions, battlefields, the Cursed Tower and levelling past 100.

Online points and the W Coin Voucher

Every character collects online points just for being logged in. One NPC turns them into W Coin, by way of a voucher you keep in your bag until you want it.

  1. 1

    Stay online

Each character earns 2 online points for every hour it is logged in, at any level, every day of the week. It holds at most 500 — at the cap it stops earning, so spend before you get there. Your count is in the Character window, C.
  2. 2

    Find Cronous in Waldchen

He is the [Online Point Merchant]. His counter takes online points, not heim.
  3. 3

    Buy a W-Coin Voucher (100) for 100 points

It goes into your bag like any other item. It stacks, it can be traded, and it can sit in storage until you want it.
  4. 4

    Use it

Use the voucher from your bag. It is used up, 100 W Coin goes onto your account, and if the Item Shop is open its balance updates on the spot. If the coin cannot be added for any reason, you get the voucher back.

100 online points

Worth 100 W Coin. At 2 points an hour, that is fifty hours on one character — the slowest route there is, and the one that asks nothing of you but being logged in.

The counter sells other things too

Lv.1 Mayan JewelLv.1 Mayan MetalLv.2 Mayan JewelLv.2 Mayan MetalPledge of King

Lv.1 Mayan Jewels and Metals for 1 point, Lv.2 for 3, a Pledge of King for 190. The Get Reward roulette in the Character window spends points too, one a spin. Decide what your points are for before you spend them.

Donating

S.U.N Reborn is free. Donations pay for keeping it online, and they are thanked in W Coin at a flat 1,000 for every US dollar, with a bonus on the larger amounts.

DonationW CoinBonusYou receive

$100100,000+30% · 30,000130,000
The bonus is shown separately so the rate stays what it says: 1,000 W Coin a dollar, at every amount.

Server goals

The donate page shows what everyone has given together this month against a set of targets. A goal’s reward, once it is confirmed, goes to every account — donor or not — and arrives in the gift tab of your Storage Box. A goal marked Pending has a target and no reward yet; what it pays is written there when it is settled, and not before.

The small print, plainly

W Coin from a donation has no cash value, cannot be turned back into money and cannot be moved to another account. A donation is not refundable once the coin is credited. The only place money is ever asked for is the donate page, signed in to your own account — anyone asking anywhere else is not us.

One more way in, for as long as it runs: approved gameplay videos earn 5,000 W Coin under the content creator event on the events page.

The catalogue

What the shop sells

131 items across eight tabs. The website shop lists the same catalogue the game downloads, at the same prices, for signed-in members.

Being straight about it: several things here add stats while you use them — the seven-day rings, the Great General costumes, the elixirs. Browse the whole list in the item shop (members only).

The line it does not cross

What the shop does not sell

The things that decide how strong a character ends up are earned in game by everyone, and the shop stays out of them.

No gear

No weapon or armour at all, and nothing from the Elite ladder — no Elite pieces, no awakening or evolution material.

No enchanting

No Photons and no reagents. Every enchant is paid for in heim and material you found.

No loot boxes

Nothing in the catalogue is a box that rolls for a random prize. What is on the tile is what you get.

Not every key

The key to the Trial of Light — the top grade — is not sold, and neither are the Fire or Darkness Keys.

Every tower key it sells has a free twin

The crafted key carries the same name and opens the same tower — the entrance accepts either. Keys are used in town. Each twin is crafted from that tower’s Seal and never fails; see Trials & the Cursed Tower for where the Seals come from.

Colosseum Fight Tickets

the exception

The four Monster Colosseum tickets — 50, 100, 150 and 200 W Coin — have no free source in the game today. The shop is the only way to get one, and a Colosseum run pays no W Coin back.

Passing things on

Gifts, trading and binding

The shop window has a Send a Gift button. On this server it does not work, but trading does.

Buying for someone else

Sending a shop item straight to another player is not available — the shop will refuse it. Buy it yourself, claim it, and hand it over in a normal trade. Pets, mounts, the Earth and Water Keys, hairstyles, bags and most of the elixirs can all be traded once claimed; like most shop items, they cannot be sold to a merchant or dropped.

Gifts from the server

Rewards the server hands out, like a confirmed server goal, do work. They arrive in the Received Gift tab of your Storage Box, with who sent them and why, and you claim them the same way you claim a purchase.

An item follows the same rules however you got it. Whether something can be traded is a property of the item, not of where it came from — so an item that is bound when it arrives as a reward is bound when you buy it, too. These shop items cannot be traded, sold, dropped or put in any storage, only used or deleted: the Lion Elixir, Wolf Elixir 2, Coyote Elixir 2, Stat Reset, Skill Reset, the Wind Key and Colosseum Fight Tickets Lv.2 and Lv.3. Buy them for the character that will use them.
