Battlefields & Chaos Zone
Fighting other players runs through one window. Today it holds one open battlefield — Zapir, six a side — and a free-for-all room with no rules and no rewards. The currency Zapir pays is what buys the Gladiator’s Elite sets. This page covers the entry bar, how a match is won, and what the rewards turn into.

Where it lives
The Chaos Zone window
Chaos Zone is not a separate map or a harder version of the battlefields. It is the window every player-versus-player mode is queued from. Press F11 to open it.
| Listed as | What it is | Can you enter? |
|---|---|---|
| Zapir Battlefield 6vs6 | Two teams of six fighting over three strongholds. The only battlefield that pays. | Yes — level 140 and up |
| Free Battle Room | A room you can open yourself. Everyone outside your party is an enemy. No score and no reward. | Yes — any level |
| Frost Battlefield 6vs6 | Listed, but its enter button is switched off. | No — “The Season of Battlefield has ended.” |
| Gold Rush · Tomb of desire 6vs6 | Listed on its own tab, also switched off. | No — same message |
Step by step
Getting into a match
You queue alone, from anywhere, and the game builds the teams. The real obstacle is not the level.
- 1
Meet the bar
Level 140 and an Equipment Grade of 10,000 or higher. The tooltip spells it out: “You must be Level 140 with an equipment rating of 10000 or higher to enter.” - 2
Leave your party
Party members cannot reserve a place. You also cannot queue while you carry the full chaotic mark from killing players (see the last section), or while a deserter lock-out from an earlier match is still running. - 3
Open the window and reserve
Press F11, pick Zapir Battlefield and reserve. You keep playing while you wait. - 4
Wait for twelve
A match starts the moment twelve players are waiting. The teams are dealt out in pairs: healers are split between the sides first, then everyone else by Equipment Grade, and each pair goes one to each side at random. If the queue never reaches twelve, a smaller even match is forced once the first player in line has waited five hours and at least six are queued. - 5
Get in, get ready
Everyone has five minutes to arrive. After that comes 45 seconds of preparation, then the gates open.
The rules
How Zapir is won
First team to 2,500 points wins. Points come from three places, and the strongholds are the one that decides it.
| Source | Points | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Just being in the match | +10 to both teams | Every 10 seconds |
| Each stronghold your team holds | +10 | Every 10 seconds, per stronghold |
| Killing an enemy player | +1 | Per kill |
Taking a stronghold
Zapir has three: Seaside, Thornwood Bush and Relics Stronghold. Work the flag for 10 seconds to seal it. The stronghold then falls to your team after 60 seconds. If the team that held it seals it back inside that minute, they keep it, and the game counts that as a defence. Holding all three puts your team 30 points a tick ahead of the other side’s flat 10.
Dying and coming back
Five seconds after you fall you are moved back to your team’s safe area. The dead come back together in a wave every 30 seconds. Each revived player is immune to damage for 15 seconds. Kills are worth only a single point, so a fight is really about who gets back to the flags first.
Voting a player out
Once either team has 1,000 points, you can call a vote to remove someone from your own team. A single “no” ends the vote, and another cannot be called for a minute. A player voted out is sent off the field and gets the one-hour deserter lock-out.
Leaving early
Walk out during the preparation or the match and you cannot reserve another place for an hour. The lock-out stays on through death. Finish the match instead: even a loss pays.
Rewards
What a match pays
Everyone who took part is paid when the match ends, winners and losers alike. Everything on the list is handed over; there is nothing to choose between.
| Result | You receive |
|---|---|
| Win | 3 Source of Light and Darkness · 1 Medal of Battlefield · 3 Bloodstained Tokens · 10 SUN CHIPs |
| Loss or draw | 1 Source of Light and Darkness · 1 Bloodstained Token · 1 Particle of Light and Darkness · 5 SUN CHIPs |
| Did nothing | A Battle Field Manager’s Warning, and nothing else |
| Any finished match | 50 W Coin, for up to six matches a day per account |
Source of Light and Darkness
the main currencyWhat the Gladiator’s Elite armour trader takes, and half of every W-2 upgrade. Three per win, one per loss.
Bloodstained Token
black marketRight-click tokens to put them in your Currency Purse; the Black-Market Operators take them from there. One token buys one Source.
Medal of Battlefield
win onlyOnly the winning team gets one. Severus in Etherain trades them for experience, Source and Fight Coins.
SUN CHIP
achievementCounts toward a ten-step achievement in the J window: every 100 collected up to 1,000 pays heim, from 1,000,000 up to 19,000,000, plus an item.
Particle of Light and Darkness
no buyer yetPaid on a loss or draw. Nothing in the current shops takes it, so for now it only piles up.
Battle Field Manager’s Warning
penaltyWhat you get for standing still. It replaces the reward entirely.
Zapir achievements
Wins are counted in the J window. At 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 wins they pay 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 million heim. The 500th win also gives the title Ruler of Battlefield. Taking 500 strongholds earns Master of Attack, and defending 500 earns Expert of Defense. The earlier steps of those two pay nothing.
Spending it
The black market and Severus
Every town has a Black-Market Operator — Tringel, Waldchen, Etherain, Aukra, Kortoq and Esmara Village — and they all sell the same list for Bloodstained Tokens.
| Item | Tokens | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Source of Light and Darkness | 1 | So a win is worth up to six Source once its tokens are spent |
| Fight Coin | 9 | The second material in every W-2 upgrade |
| Gladiator’s Elite skin set box | 3 | One per class |
| Ring of Roar · Ring of Scream · Necklace of Struggle | 30 / 80 / 180 | Lasts 1, 3 or 7 days |
| Box of any of those three | 200 | One random version — 1-day, 3-day, 7-day or unlimited |
| Vial of One / Two / Three / Four Drop | 1 / 3 / 6 / 10 | Ether potion bottles |
| Normal / Clear / Transparent / Shiny Ether Crude Liquid | 1 / 3 / 6 / 10 | |
| Soul Stone of Cheetah, Bear, Wolf, Falcon or Snake | 1 | |
| Cheetah’s, Wolf’s, Falcon’s, Bear’s or Snake’s Potion Box | 3 | A random 30-minute buff potion of that animal |
Fight Coin
for W-2Two ways to get it: 9 tokens at any black market, or 3 Medals of Battlefield handed to Severus. Nothing else pays it.
Severus, the Battle Field Manager
He stands in Etherain and gives two quests from level 130. Purpose of Fight is daily: one Medal for 800,000,000 experience and 10 Source of Light and Darkness. Ruler of Battlefield repeats as often as you like: three Medals for one Fight Coin.
The gear

Outside the battlefields
Fighting players in the open world
Player killing is switched on. Whether you can start a fight depends on the ground you stand on, and a kill can cost the killer.
Starting a fight
Safe zones allow none of it. Where player killing is allowed, you usually have to force the attack: hold Ctrl as you attack, or turn on Always press the PK key in the options. Both of you must be level 40 or higher. Your party, your guild and allied guilds cannot be attacked this way, but a guild you have declared hostile can. Some contested areas skip the Ctrl step and treat everyone outside your party, guild and alliance as a target.
What a kill costs
Where you had to force the attack, killing a player with a clean record marks you as a player killer for 20 hours. A second kill while you are marked makes you fully chaotic and adds 20 hours, and every kill after that adds 20 more. Your victim is offered the chance to put you on their Revenge List. Killing a fully chaotic player, or someone who has just attacked a clean player, does not mark you.
What a marked death costs
In those same areas a marked player killed by another player can drop an item. The roll is 50% under the first mark and 100% once fully chaotic. One drop in five is taken from what you are wearing. A clean player drops nothing, unless the killer has them on their own Revenge List; then it is a 50% roll.
And the battlefield
A fully chaotic player cannot reserve a battlefield place until the mark wears down. Kills inside the battlefield and the Free Battle Room carry none of these costs; they only move the score.
