Events & daily rewards

Some of what the game pays out has nothing to do with what you kill. A standing experience boost every weekend, a calendar that pays you for logging in, a free buff at a pillar in every town. Here is each of them: when it runs, and exactly what it gives you.

The Weekend EXP Boost

From the first minute of Saturday to the last minute of Sunday, every monster you kill is worth 10% more experience. It runs every weekend, it has no end date, and there is nothing to claim.

When

Saturday 00:00 – Sunday 23:59

Server time, which is US Eastern. It switches on at midnight going into Saturday and off at midnight going into Monday, every weekend.

Who

Every character, 1 to 177

The whole level range, every class. No NPC, no item, no sign-up. Log in on a weekend and it is already running.

What

+10% experience from kills

Every monster you kill pays a tenth more than it would on a weekday, on top of whatever else you are already carrying.

It adds, it does not multiply

Your experience bonuses are added together: experience gear, a room’s bonus, Friend Invite and the weekend boost. So +10% on top of +20% gear is +30%, not +32%. The big one to pair it with is Friend Invite: levelling beside the friend you invited is double experience, and on a weekend that becomes +110%.

How you will know it is on

At the moment it starts, the chat window prints “Bonus EXP event: +10% experience is now active!” That line is sent once, to the people online at midnight. If you log in later in the weekend you will not see it, but the bonus is on for you all the same, applied to every kill.

Now and then a short one-off boost runs as well. Those are announced on the events page with their own start and end times.

Every day

The Daily Log

A calendar that pays you for turning up. Log in on a day and that day counts. The rewards go by how many days you have logged in this month, not by the date, so a missed day only pushes the next reward back. It never costs you one.

  1. 1

Entering the world with a character checks that character in for the day. Days turn over at midnight server time (US Eastern). If you were already in the game when midnight passed, the new day is counted the next time you enter the world. Each character keeps its own calendar, so every character you play collects separately.
  2. 2

    Open the calendar

Shift+D opens the Attendance Check window. It can be rebound in the key settings like any other shortcut. A button in the window flips to next month, so you can see what is coming.
  3. 3

    Claim everything at once

The reward button pays every day you have built up since your last claim in one go. There is no need to open the window every day; logging in is what counts. Leave room in your bag: if a reward cannot be handed over, the claim stops there and everything after it waits for your next one.
  4. 4

    Claim before the month ends

On the first of the month the calendar starts again from step one, and anything you earned but did not collect is gone.

The same ladder every month. “Login” is the number of days you have logged in this month, not the date: the sixth day you log in pays the sixth reward, whether that falls on the 6th or the 20th. Gold rows are the bundle days, three items at once. Where a reward says “3 days” or “7 days”, the item lasts that long.
The last steps need a long month. A 30-day month (April, June, September, November) can only reach step 30, so the 31st reward waits for a 31-day month. February stops at 28, or 29 in a leap year, which puts the Holy Book at step 30 out of reach entirely. Log in every single day of a long month to collect the whole ladder.

What those rewards actually do

Most of the calendar is potions. These are the rewards that are not, taken from their tooltips.

Grace of Goddess

Grace of Goddess

21 a month

Brings a dead party member within 20 metres back to life and pulls them to your side. It works on yourself as well.

Holy Book of Hermetism

Holy Book of Hermetism

Step 30

One more socket chance on equipment that can take four or five sockets. Careful: the sockets already on the item can disappear, and every Zard in them goes too.

Ring Box of Harmony and Balance

Ring Box of Harmony and Balance

Steps 30 & 31

Opens into a Ring of Harmony and Balance lasting 7, 14, 21 or 28 days, or one that never runs out, at random.

Great Commander's Baton

Great Commander's Baton

7 days

While you have it, a room you create earns more experience: +20% for you and +10% for everyone else in it.

Runestone

Runestone

7 days

A personal waypoint for a week. Save where you are standing and teleport back to it later, from the Y key.

Reset Daily Quest

Reset Daily Quest

Steps 11 & 14

Resets your daily quests so you can run them again. It can be used once a day.

Spa Ticket & Premium Spa Ticket

Spa Ticket & Premium Spa Ticket

3 or 7 days

Entry to the Serient Spa, a place to earn experience from level 130. The Premium ticket is the stronger of the two, and two tickets’ effects do not stack.

Awakening Additive

Awakening Additive

Steps 19 & 21

The additive that equipment awakening needs. The calendar gives you two a month.

Master's Kit

Master's Kit

Up to 15 a month

Fully repairs everything you are wearing. On limited items it costs some of their maximum durability.

Goddess Potion Lv.4

Goddess Potion Lv.4

Steps 21 & 25

4,000 HP and 4,000 MP at once, the strongest potion the calendar hands out.

The three General Potion Boxes each hold five of every Lv.2, Lv.3 or Lv.4 general potion. The Vigor and Spirit boxes hold two each of the Bear, Wolf, Falcon and Snake potions of their kind. Several rewards arrive as the [Supply] edition of the item.

In every town

The Crystal Pillar

There is a pillar in the main towns that gives you a free half-hour buff: faster movement, faster attacks, more HP and more defence. It works at every level, it is up around the clock, and it has no end date.

EffectAmount
Movement speed+5%
Attack speed+5%
HP+400
Basic Defence+100
Lasts30 minutes
Every character from level 1 to 177. The pillar’s window also lists a stronger Premium block. The numbers here are the ones every character gets.

Where to find one

Esod, Tringel, Waldchen, Etherain (two of them), Aukra, Kortoq and Esmara Village. Click the pillar, and its window lists what it gives; accept and the buff is on.

No limit on it

There is no cooldown and no daily count. When the half hour runs out, walk back to a pillar and take it again. It is a cheap habit before heading out of town, especially at low levels where 400 HP is a large share of your bar.

Bring someone

Friend Invite

The one standing event that pays two players at once. It runs permanently, and while it applies it doubles your experience.

Name one of your characters when a friend signs up on this site, before they create their first character, and the game links the two of you. After that, while you are partied together, each of you earns double experience as long as your own character is level 80 or below. You both collect a gift box when their character reaches level 20, 40, 60 and 80. The link has to be made before their first character exists, so set it up before they start playing.

The Trials

The Cursed Tower trials open together at 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00 and midnight server time, and the door stays open for ten minutes. A key alone will not get you in outside that window.
